BrandLoyalty is proud to announce that it will be developing the retail loyalty market throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa for Disney EMEA. Starting in January 2018, the new collaboration will build on the successful cooperation between both organisations over the past few years.
“Loyalty programmes in supermarkets capture shoppers’ imagination even more when there’s a great brand name involved. That’s why we’re delighted to have signed a three-year contract with Disney,” says Jasper Rikken, BrandLoyalty’s Buying Director.
“BrandLoyalty has already run several highly popular Instant Loyalty Promotions (ILPs) based around famous Disney characters and franchises such as Star Wars, Pixar and Marvel in supermarkets around the world in recent years. These programmes reward customers for their spend by letting them collect attractive giveaways at the checkout, such as stickers or figurines of their favourite characters, as well as enhancing playability with digital components like augmented reality. During the promotional period, new customers visit the store, and existing customers spend more, in order to collect the giveaways. Our collaborations so far include a Star Wars ILP at E. LeClerc in France, a Marvel ILP at Carrefour, and a Disney loyalty programme at the Coop. These considerably increased turnover for the retailers, and create a hype around the latest movie releases.”
