In 2005, Zwilling J.A. Henckels and BrandLoyalty initiated what was set to become a very successful partnership. Since that date, both companies have experienced great benefits from Zwilling’s brand positioning strategy. In appreciation of this supportive collaboration, Zwilling J.A. Henckels recently awarded BrandLoyalty its ‘Partner of the Year’ award during its annual sales congress, held in Istanbul in July 2013. BrandLoyalty is of course very proud to have received this Award and is looking forward to continue investing in this valuable partner.
Proof of this unique collaboration was also provided by Mr. Volker Hermann, the keynote speaker, as he addressed the audience at Amsterdam’s Tobacco Theatre during the Suppliers’ Day on 25 September. In his speech, Mr. Hermann shared Zwilling’s view on how our partnership is experienced and how exactly this works for his company.
The history of the Zwilling J.A. Henckels brand began on 13 June, 1731. It was on that day that knife-maker Peter Henckels from Solingen registered the ‘Twin’ symbol as his trademark with the Cutlers´ Guild of Solingen, making it one of the oldest trademarks in the world. Today’s name – Zwilling J.A. Henckels – was given to the company by a descendant of Peter Henckels: Johann Abraham Henckels.
